We don't know about you, but there's nothing more stressful than feeling like you have to devour all your produce in one day before it goes bad. That's why these super simple tricks for keeping your food fresh are so useful! We had no idea that storing cucumbers next to the tomatoes makes them ripen too fast or that squeezing lemon juice onto avocados keeps them from spoiling. It always feels good to preserve the shelf life of our favorite foods and the best part about most of these hacks is that they don't require any fancy kitchen equipment.
