We've all heard the mantra: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. YouTube star Domestic Geek has 5 smoothie recipes that you can prepare in advance that will give you a boost of energy and nutrients each day of the week. Not only nutritious, these recipes are delicious to boot so kids will love them too.

The video recommends pouring the liquid into the blender first to help all the ingredients blend more smoothly. These can last for up to 3 days in the refrigerator and you can also pre-freeze these smoothie 'packs' for an easy morning routine.

My favorite is the Green Smoothie -- creamy and nutritious. I'm actually able to sneak even more spinach than the recipe recommends, so it's a great way to help my family get some more vitamins! What do you think of these concoctions? What would you put in your smoothie? Please share with us in the comments!
